In Spring of 2016, a group of students from the Olympia Youth Orchestra (Olympia Chamber Society) went on a tour in China and Hong Kong, well received by local audiences.
In the summer of 2013, a chamber orchestra comprised of 25 members of the Olympia Youth Orchestra went on a successful five-city concert tour throughout China.
